फगुआ

गाम में छोडा सब एही बेर तैयार  छै.  एही बेर त धुडखेल मचाकय रहबै.  ओनाही फगुआ के किछु इंटेलेक्चुअल टाइप के लोक नहीं मनबैत अछि  किएक त एही से हुनका सब के देसिपना के दुर्गन्ध अबैत छन्हि. धूरा एवं रंग से बड्ड परहेज छन्हि  हुनका सब के. तैयो कउनु बात नहीं, हम सब त फगुआ खेलबे करब.  फगुआ टा नहीं, धुर्खेलो. इ पाबनिये एहन छै जे कतबो पढ़ुआ  हुए आ की गंवार, हाकिम-पर्फेसर हुआ की महीसवार अपना हिसाब से सब  एहि  पाबनि के खूब उत्साह आ उमंग से मनबैत अछि.  आर्थिक रूप से सेहो इ पाबनि ककरो अपमानित नहि करैत अछि.  सब एक्कहि रंग,  कुनु   दुराव नहि. इ पाबनिये एहन अछि जे एहि में कुनु देखाबा के गुन्जैशे नहि छै. आ तै कियो कुनु देखाबा करितो नहि छै. शायत ईअह कारन छियै जे इंटेलेक्चुअल लोक ओते उत्साह से नहि मनाबैत छै जतेक उत्साह आ उमंग से  सामान्य लोक. मुदा जखन इ तथाकथित इन्तेलेचुअल आ धनि मणि लोक सब फगुआ खेलैत छथि त एकदम सामान्य जन बनी जैत छथि जेना कोनो भेद भाव नहि हो. यैह त एहि पाबैन के खूबी छियै जे सब एके रंग रंगायल बुझाइत अछि. इ त बुझले अछि जे फगुआ उत्साह, उमंग, भंग, मालपुआ, पिरुकिया इत्यादी के पाबैन थिक. इ पाबैन त नवका वियाहल लोक सब त किछु बेसिए जोश से मनबैत छथि.अपनों गाम में धुरखेल आ फगुआ खूब जमैत अछि. कतौ-कतौ बुरबक लोक सब रंग के बदरंग करैत छथि अपन किरदानी से, मुदा फगुआ तैयौ खूब जमैत अछि.  जोगीरा आ फगुआ के गीत होरी फगुआ जमबई में कोनो कसर नहि छोरैत अछि. कतेक दिन भ गेल, गाम के फगुआ नहि देखलहु.  बुझु त इ दुर्भाग्य थिक की नहि?  फेर याद आबैत अछि.............. एक महिना पहिनहि  से लागैत रहैत छल जे फगुआ आबि गेल. आम में मोजर लागे के देरी की, फगुआ शुरू. कर-कुटुंब के रंग लगायब शुरू भ जायत छल सरस्वतिए पूजा  से. जे कुटुम गाम एलाह, बिना रंगायल नहि घुरलाह. याद आबि रहल अछि गाम के धुरखेल. बीसों बरिस भ गेल शायद, मुदा ओहिना बुझाइत अछि जे ठीक सोझा में भ रहल अछि. सब टोल के लोक ८-९ बजिते तैयारी के साथ घर से निकलि गेल धुरखेल के लेल.  धीया पूता सब त कने सबेरगरे से छौर, थाल, धूरा इत्यादी एक दोसर पर फेंकनाय  शुरू क देलक. फेर होरी आ जोगीरा के सरारा............. शुरू भ गेल. पुबारी टोल के धुरखेल मंडली ते फेमस अछि पुरे गाम में. ओ सब बड्ड आक्रामक शैली में धुरखेल खेलायत अछि.  बाप, पित्ति, भाय, भातिज इत्यादी सब मिल के एकटा गैंग बनेने छै. छौर, धूरा, थाल, गोबर, गूंह... कउनु चीज बागल नहि हुनका सबहक लेल. जे सामना में आयल, तकरे लेप देलहु, पालिश के देलहु तकर मिश्रण से.हलुक-फलुक लोक भेटल त ओकरा कचरा के खाधि में पटैक देलहु. डोका के माला पहिरि,टीन के ढोल बना के ल लेलहू आ घुमई छि  पूरा गाम. एहि धुरखेल के बहाना  से समूचा  गाम के सफाई भ जैत छल. अगिला दिन फेर रंग आ अबीर उरबे करतय. लेकिन धुरखेल में जे सामंजस्य लखा परेत अछि से फगुआ दिन नहि, इ हमरा बुझाइत अछि.

ओना अपनों गाम के फगुआ के रूप बदलि गेल अछि. भंग के जगह पर दारू के किछ बेसिए जोर भ गेल अछि. एहि से छुटकारा भेटबाक चाही. एहि में युवा वर्ग के योगदान आवश्यक अछि. गाम के मंतान्ग्बाक  के दृश्य त' अद्भुत होइत अछि. आशा अछि जे कलही अपना गाम में फगुआ नीक जकां मनायल जायत.  ओना किछु-किछु दुखद घटना के आलोक में पूरा जोश के उम्मीद करनाय बेमानी थिक, मुदा पाबनि मनायब सेहो अबश्यक अछि की नहि?  सब  गोटे  के फगुआ बहुत-बहुत बधाई.

Wishing all chainpurians a very happy new year.  May all gods and goddesses bestow their divine showers  on our lovely village.

katek din baad

At first, i would like to say sorry to all my friends.  After a long time, i am able to post some things on this blog.

Recently, national festival of our lovely village i.e Kaali Puja has been celebrated with lot of zest and fervour,as has since been done from time immemorial.  Afterwards, Chhath has also been celebrated with pious soul.

At different point of time, some chainpurians have mentioned that now kaali puja is not being celebrated as was being done in past.  It is perhaps due to modernisation and out kaali puja preparation has not ket pace with the over all development of the society.  But what is being done is still very good and all chainpurian are waiting for Kaali Puja every year.

There are lot of contention among youth on petty issues during festival time.  Love for liquor specially during festivals like Kaali Puja and Holi in youths,  has been seen  as very disturbing trend.  Some opined that Army jawans of our lovely village have started a trend to visit our place during festival time along with loads of liquor, which they distribute among youth for cash or kind.  It is felt that this type of situation is not good for our village.  Not only this, shopkeeper of our village are also keeping and selling liquors in our village.  This situation is perhaps not tolerable and should not be tolerated.

The common men of our village, Mukhia, Sarpanch and ward members etc. should bear the responsibility to remove such type of situation.  I would like to request out mothers and sisters to come out and lodge their protest against selling of liquor in our village.  I hope the situation will improve soon.

Tomorrow is Saama Chakeva festival.  One of the festival of Mithila which depicts love of brother and sister. This festival should have been Pan-India appearance but due to some unknown reason, it has been confined to mithila only.  Wish u all a happy Saama Chakeva festival.

Sirua

Wish all chainpurians very happy "Sirua".  Maay kaki dwara bhore bhor jurenai,  satuain, bari bhaat evam daalpuri khenai, gaachh briksha ke seho jurenai, thaam thaam par ghail mein yatri lokain ke lel paani ke vyavastha karnai, aa shikaar karbaak parampara nibhayab aa kato kato dhurkhel seho khelayab; badd yaad aabait achhi.

E din Mithila nav varsh ke rup mein seho mahnayal jaayat achhi.  Ahan sab ke hamara dishi se dhreon dher badhaiyan.

I wish all chainpurian on the occasion of 62nd Republic Day.

Shashi Kala Middle School chainpur is going to celebrate its Diamond Jubilee on 26th January.  All chainpurians are requested to attend the same, if possible.  I hope this will be a new beginning for our lovely village and on the same line, anniversary of all other schools will also be celebrated.  May Mahadeo and Mother Sharda will shower their blessing for successful celebration and this school will continue her tradition to produce outstanding students in future also.

To day is sama chakeva parva which is celebrated in Mithila.  This is a traditional parva which has now been confined to Mithila only.  We should cherish and conserve this parva.  The story of this parva belongs to Mahabharat Kaal and short brief of the same is as under:

भाई-बहिनक प्रेम गाथा छी सामा-चकेबा : भाई-बहिन क पवित्र प्रेम क प्रतीक पर्व सामा-चकेवा आइ अपन वजूदक लेल संघर्ष कए रहल अछि। ओना मिथिलाक किछु भाग मे एखनो लोकगीत स गुंजायमान एहि पर्वक महत्व कायम अछि। छठिक राति स कार्तिक पूर्णिमा तक बहिन क कंठ स निकलैत स्वर लहरी कान मे मधु टपकाबैत अछि। राति कए बहिन सामा-चकेवा क मूर्ति क संग-संग वृंदावन, चुगला आदि स भरल डाला ले कए सामूहिक रूप स जोतल खेत, खलिहान, चौक-चौराहा पर जुटय लगैत छथि। छोट-छोट नैना क संग-संग बूढिय़ा बहिन तक एहि मे हिस्सा लैत छथि। एहि दौरान बहिन ‘गाम कए अधिकारी तोहें बड़का भैया हो, हाथ दस पोखरि खुना दिए, चंपा फुल लगा दिए हे…Ó आदि गीत क संग सामा-चकेवा क मूर्ति एक-दूसर क हाथ मे दकए पहिने अपन-अपन भाईक दीर्घ आयुक कामना करैत छथि। एहि पर्वक खास गप ई सेहो अछि जे एकर गीत मे पर्यावरण संरक्षण क संदेश सेहो देल जाइत अछि। कार्तिक पूर्णिमाक राति बहिन सामा-चकेवा क मूर्ति क संग-संग वृंदावन, चुगला आदि स भरल डाला ले कए जोतल खेत मे जमा होइत छथि। ओहि ठाम सबस पहिने शिरिक आदान-प्रदान होइत अछि। एहि प्रक्रियाक संबंध मे कहल जाइत अछि जे जतेक बहिन स शिरिक आदान-प्रदान करब भाइक बैस ओतेक बढ़त। ताहि लेल बहिन सब टोल-मोहल्लाक एकोटा मौगि स शिरिक आदन-प्रदान करब नहि बिसरैत छथि। एहि दौरान साउस-पुतहु व ननदि-भाउज एक-दोसरा स शिरिक आदान-प्रदान करैत गाउल गीत मे अपन सबटा भाईक नाम एक-एक कए लइत जाइत छथि। फेर प्रतीक रूप म वृंदावन मे आगि लगा कए ओहि मे चुगला कए जड़ा कए गबैत छथि,’वृंदावन मे आगि लागल कियो नहि मिझाबे हे, हमर बड़का-छोटका भईया मिलकए मिझाउत हे।Óबहिन चूड़कक पुतला क मुंह झुलसा कए खराब चरित्र क प्रति विरोध दर्ज कैत ओकरा लेल अपशकुन क कामना करैत छथि। फेर पिछला 15 दिन मे बनाउल एक-एक टा सामा-चकेवा क मूर्ति कए लग कए घर दिस विदा भ जाइत छथि। मुदा भाग्य चक्र स बिमुख दू टा मैना, जेकरा बाटो-बहिन कहल जाइत अछि, तेकरा बाट पर छोडि़ दैत छथि। घर पहुंचला पर भाई स सामा-चकेवा क सबटा मूर्ति तुड़वा लैत छथि। एना खत्म होइत अछि सामा-चकेबाक शापित काल।

annual function at neelkanth mandir

On Sunday dated 03.10.2010, I reached my lovely village after almost one year.  To my utter surprise, I came to know that there was a function where some bhajan singers of our village are performing in the Neelkanth Mandir.  When I reached Mandir, I saw Shri Sohan to perform nachari, devi bhajan and shiv bhajan etc.  Upto that time I didn't know that there was some special occasion which have been celebrated in our village every year.  That was the Varshikotsav at Shiv Mandir.  In my earlier days, i used to visit mandir with my father during such varshikotsav samaroh.  The environment of neelkanth mandir was amazing and full of devotion.  The campus of mandir was full with gents and ladies and all were enjoying the bhakti ras amrit.  Sohan is a very good singer and he is blessed with very good voice.  I think, if he is given opportunity, he will certainly excel in this field.
After the performance of Shri Sohan, the artists of our neighbour Bangaon (village of so many itellectuals, bhakts like Shri Shri 108 Shri Laxminath Gosain) came and rocked the campus of neelkanth mandir with arrays of bhakti sangeet of many reknowned geetkar viz. Laxminath Gosain, Madhukant Jha Madhukar and Premi Ji.  Nandji of Bangaon (Part of Naval-Nand Jodi of Maithili sangeet) started with a shiv bhajan of Babajee "hum nai karab ehan jamai".  Later he performed a very famous nachari of Premiji "japto nai kiyo tohar naam hau baba".  All listners and bhakt started dancing on the tune of Nand Ji.  I am perhaps fortunate to be present on this auspicious occasion and saw the live performance of Shri Nand Ji.  Certainly he is a gem of Mithila and I pray to audhardani that he may get all the things in his life.
After the performance of nandji several artists of Bangaon performed on this occasion.  Some of them are Shri Bechan Poddar and his daughter Sakshi Kumari.  We were used to see performing Bechan Poddar as dancer only but bhajan from him shows his versatility in singing.
Really, this was a grand occasion and I hope, i will be present, whenever, Mahadev permits us.

Raksha Bandhan

every year, when raksha bandhan comes, i go to the past at a fast pace and i see the scenes of childhood when most of my friends get the rakhi tied on his hand by his beloved sister.  I some times feel depressed as i haven't my own sister, but my cousin never ever let me to be in so much depressed state.  After getting rakhi from my  sister, i and other friends of mine used to go out and see different friends in different moods.  Particularly those friends who has large number of sisters.  I would like to mention two friends namely jyotisi (perhaps having seven  sisters) and manoj (five sisters).  Their arms were full of rakhi and i some times felt jealous about them.  Now i think this is the life.  In modern times, i perhaps don't understand or don't try to understand meaning of such festivities.  Perhaps this is due to the reason that now we became so called mature or intellectual, which we lacked in our childhood but i want to remain in my childhood. what a fine days that was when we were not thinking about any thing except enjoyment, though how small that was.

HAPPY RAKSHA BANDHAN TO ALL.

Matric result

On 22th may, result of matric was announced.  Mohan kr. Thakur and Shekhar suman of our school Bhagirath High School Chainpur-parari,  have secured 1st and 2nd position respectively by getting 86.6% and 85.2% respectively.  The result of this year is record breaking result. As far as i know, no one has got so much marks in matriculation exam from our school.  4 or 5 students have got more than 80% marks. Hats off to them. We hope that this type of result by Bhagirath High School Chainpur-parari will  continue in future also.

saroj bhelah civil servant

6th May 2010 brought a fabulous news for Chainpur when result of Civil Service Exam 2010 was made public by UPSC.  Shri Saroj Kumar thakur, S/o Shri Ravindra Narayan Thakur, has secured 223 rank in civil service in his second attempt.  We all know that he is a brilliant student throughout and made to IIT, now made all of us proud by clearing civil service exam.  Not only this, his optional subject is Maithili and Physics, what a combination?  Thanx and Congrats to Saroj.

His achievement will certainly enthuse lot of zeal and zest to our coming generation.

May kaali maata give him lot of shakti to try for proper IAS next time and hopefully, he will be successfull, this is our wish.  May mother kaali fulfil this dream.
