recently, a bronze statue of lord vishnu has been found in our lovely village. All of us know that our village is a rich repository of ancient statue. In nilkanth mandir, a number of human size statue of lord vishnu, surya etc. is available which made of black stones. these are rare things and tells us about our rich history and culture. We should maintain and preserve our culture. Construction of durga mandir is in full swing and will be completed in coming months.

CHAINPUR, MITHILA KA GAURAV, chainpur is one of the largest villages of Mithila. Almost maithil of all casts reside in this village.This village is situated at 10 km from Saharsa town, which is the District HQ.The structure of this village appears uniqe.
